View Full Version : Messenger Disconnects

I have MSN Messenger installed on both of my home PC's.
Messenger starts and signs in on both PC's okay. After a
period of time, which can be as little as 1 hour or as
many as 6 hours, when I try to use Messenger, I get a
message that says I have to sign in in order to use it. I
don't have the "Show me away when inactive for more than
X minutes" box checked. I run a wireless network at home
using a Dlink 614+ router, with the latest firmware
updates, which is connected to my ISP's high-speed
wireless internet service. Any ideas on what is causing
the Messenger disconnects?

Try MSN Messenger 6 when it is released (soon) and see if you have the same
problem. This is one of the issues we believe we have fixed.
