Corrupted Floppy

A friend blew a disk by removing it too soon during a
save. An attempt to repair(through properties) and it
now states it's not formatted.

Is the (urgently needed) data still there? And can it be
recovered?

No; IF you have lost the File Allocation Table, you cannot retrieve the
data without great expense. In the future, when using floppies, COPY the
file to the disk and then verify the data before reoving it from the HDD.

Ideally, he should've saved it to both the hard drive &
the disk. Unfortunatley even tho' he knew better, but
was in a hurry. :(
