can't download yahoo chat or games

everytime i go into yahoo chat or games it won't let me
get into the program. a prompt then comes up and says i
need to download java virtual machine, so that is what i
did. it took 239 minutes to download this and nothing
works. HELP ME PLEASE

Download & install MS Virtual Machine Build 3809.
Then visit the Windows Update website to obtain the
security update (Build 3810).
