I picked up the Backdoor virus and Norton can't delete it. - Has
anyone else gotten this virus and able to delete it. Would appreciate your
input.
I found a windows suggestion on how to delete it from the registry but
that doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

Have you read this?

You will not get these problems if you keep your anti-virus software up to date.

Thanks Mary. I read the definition of the Backdoor Virus and I had my
Norton definitions up-to-date.. It did not prevent me from getting the
virus and Norton was not able to delete it or quarantine it.
So Norton has no protection for this particular virus. Trying to delete
it manually was not successful either.
