hi, all: does anyone know that the xp's messenger will be
upgraded ever? i saw a friend's msn 6 on win2k. looks
pretty cool. but i don't think i can remove the xp's
messenger 4.7.

Windows Messenger 5.0 is in beta.
MSN Messenger 6.0 is in beta.

They look nothing alike. XP users can use both. Non XP users can only use
MSN (unless you're running Windows 2000, then you'll be able to use Windows
Messenger 5.0).

You can use MSN Messenger 6 on XP.

Hi, Jonathan: I followed your instructions on your web
site to remove windows messenger 4.7. i got the new msn6
installed. it is working.

one strange thing. i also have AIM. when I start up
outlook express, it automatically starts AIM. How can I
change to msn messenger 6?
