Hi
I have configured a batch job to run under a scheduled task to backup my C:
drive and System State on a Windows XP Pro machine using a DDS3 tape
drive.:-
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
NT\NTBackup\data\Test.bks" /n "MHP Server" /d "MHP Server" /v:yes /r:no
/rs:no /hc:on /m normal /j "MHP Server Full Backup + System State" /l:s /p
"4mm DDS" /um
All went well but now when the backup finishes it stops the Removable
Service:- Event id 98 RSM was stopped.
followed by event id 7036 The Removable Storage service entered the stopped
state.
The next scheduled backup won't run unless the Removable Storage service is
started.
Does anyone know how to stop the backup stopping the service at the end?
The workstation has the latest updates.
