Put the Windows XP cd in your CD-ROM drive.
I found going into my BIOS setup and making my CD-ROM drive the first boot
device.
Reboot the PC and watch the monitor for the prompt to hit any key to load
from cd-rom device....
Then follow the on-screen prompts to walk you through the setup/partitioning

and that will erase EVERYTHING on your hard drive.
if you don't want to erase everything then you need third party software
like partition magic by powerquest.

With Partition Magic by PowerQuest. Read the instructions very carefully,
twice, and you will have smooth sailing.
