All programs list

I want to condense my list of programs so I can see more of them. I asked
about this some time ago, got the answer, did it to condense all of
Microsoft into one folder and now have forgotten how to do it. Going to in
windows explorer and doing it does not work, been there done that. Can some
one help me with this?

doing it from explorer does not work because there are actually two folders
that make up the start menu, the all users start menu folder, and your
specific start menu folder.
if you want to actually work on how your start menu looks you can just drag
and drop the shortcuts in your start menu to where you want them to be,
right click the folders and you will be able to rename them.
this should help you to organize your start menu more to your liking.
