I have a pc with 2 hard drives. I have XP on one and now I want to install
XP on the second drive so I can use it as a seperate drive. Where can I
find clear and easy information on how to do that?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,

I did what you want. However mine is a OEM version of xp ( It came with the
computer and is bios locked so no registry number is required. )

I have read in this ng that a regular copy of xp will not install twice,
even on the same computer.

If you have an OEM version just boot from the install disk and sellect a
different drive to install to.

What idiot told you that a regular copy will not install twice?
You may have read that you can not install the same license on more
than one machine, however same machine as many times as you like.
Simply boot to the CD and install to the other drive. If launched from
the current XP install choose the Advanced Install.
