Crash-Reboot Cycle

My computer has Windows XP home edition installed on it.
Unexpectedly yesterday the computer crashed and when I try
to reboot it I am given several options such as safe mode,
last known good configuration ect. I have tried all of
them and none of them will allow windows to completely
start. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try doing a repair install (not the repair console) from the bootable XP cd.
