Hi. I first noticed this problem when I try to use IE history it says
History.IE5 and there is nothing else available. Then when downloading and
selecting run, it could not find the file in the temp folder. I looked at
the attributes for the Documents and Setting folders and it was set to read
only, and all the subfolders were as well. I deselected read only and it
went through the process of changing all sub folders. I thin checked it
again and once again it is read only. I can not find a way to change it and
keep it normal. Please help. Thanks - Chris

Personal folders are always read only in XP. Ownership is the controlling
factor, not the read only attrib.
