I am trying to deactivate my MSN Messenger account. I was
able to deactive my hotmail account but my MSN Messenger
is still active? How to I terminate this account? Is it
possible or am I stuck with it. The reasons are of a
personal nature but I know I can just not use it.
However, what I really want is to deactivate it
completely. If I can please let me know how. Thank you
very much.

Greetings Michael,

If it's a Hotmail.com or MSN.com Passport, you can't close it, just delete all your contacts.
If your Passport is another e-mail address (Say @eclipsing.com), you can close it here:
https://register.passport.net/ppdelete.srf
