I have been having problems with my computer recently, it has been very
sluggish.
I opned up the task manager, and found that the page file was 1.25GB!!
Occasionally it would suddenly reduce to 151MB, and the computter would be a
lot happier. Then it would just jump back up again, and the computer is
sluggish.
I have 512mb ram, Althlon XP 1800 and 120GB HDD (30GB free space).
So what could be happening? I ran spy sweeper to clear out some spyware, but
it hasn't made any difference!

What sort of application software are you running and how large are
the data files that you are working with?
Video editing, animations, and other multimedia work can dramatically
increase the memory requirements for your computer and the page file
will be increased accordingly.
