I have an HP 754n with Award BIOS running XP Home Edition and have
just upgraded my capture card to a Pinnacle Pro-ONE RTDV (Full size card
which BARELY fits in the case...). The literature says that the card MUST be
installed on IRQ 9, 10 or 11. I followed all the card placement steps
exactly, placing it in the first PCI slot right under the AGP graphics card.
I checked the IRQ and found that it has been assigned to IRQ 21. I went to
device manager to re-assign it and found that the settings which would have
allowed me to do that are greyed out and inaccessible. I then tried to
change the setting in the BIOS - but there is no provision to do so, and I
have the latest version. What can I do to set the IRQ to 9, 10 or 11 for
this device? Am I missing something? Please help.

What kind of motherboard do you have, what brand of BIOS, and what =
version of the BIOS is installed?
