Comparison between MSN Msg 6.0 and Windows Msg 4.7

I was wondering what the differences are between the two. In particular, I'd
like to know the following:

1. Am I more likely to get a voice conversation going? I've had endless
problems with 4.7, even though I'm supposed to have all the requirements for
it to work (UPnP NAT, UPnP firewall etc)?
2. Do the features like Remote Assistance work with 6.0? If so, can I safely
remove 4.7 from my system? If I do, what would I be missing out on?

Yes, it is UPNP compatible, i've read it also works with Windows Messenger
4.7.2009, works with Remote asistance and Whiteboard too.
