Where in the XP system can I find the icons that are associated with certain
websites such as
the red "Y" for Yahoo, the "G" for Google, etc. I want to change the
standard IE icons on my links bar to associate them with those websites.
Thanks.

these are called favicons and are on the server of the web site. You will
need a program that collects those and stores them on your PC. Its free!
Send me an email @ and I will tell you where to get
it.

For the ones reading technical replies, I would kindly request them to give
me their feedback with another post (in the same thread of course), so I
will know if my advice helped them or not.
