Bad_pool_caller ???

I`ve just reinstalled xp pro and now my computer just keeps crashing giving
me the blue screen and giving the reason bad_pool_caller any ideas what this
is ?

MOBO: msi kt ultra 6380E.
Video: voodoo3 3000.
Processor: Athlon 1700+.
and 256 Mb of Ram.
HD: Fuijtsu MPE3136AT.
