Hi thanks for your suggesstions. (See lower down the
Forum list under Tegco.)
Sorry Jason and the other reply above yours, I tried both
suggestions and neither would work. The only ones to to
untick were Mr Kays 13 in my case.
I do seem to remember that when Messenger was fired up
there were two mentions of it in advanced settings and
they disappeared if you signed out?.
The first suggestion was already in my pc as I
explained,and working before adsl broadband was put in.
However I redid Jonathan Kays settigs for pic and file
sending,just in case.
Those settings are for sending files and pics not
chatting I believe. It says I need 14 in all but when I
try to enter the first one 1863, it will not let me do it
and never has,it says the 1863 is being used by another
port.But all worked ok even with it missing for months.
The strange thing is all works ok with the wall off.
So I must need a new port number put in the firewall to
make it work or something with Tiscali ADSL setup?
Any more suggesstions please?
