Has anyone hooked up two computers side by side. I'm looking to hook up my
old computer using ME, has 3 COM Ethernet card with my new computer using XP
and it has a LAN connector on back. Do I need a special cable? After
everything hooked up I want the old computer to be the slave and new one the
main. Can anyone help?
Thanks Bob

Simon is incorrect. You don't need a router or hub. Almost any computer
store will carry an "Ethernet cross-over" cable. This cable just has the
pins reversed on one end so that you can directly connect two ethernet cards
together.
