OS: workstations WinXP Pro and Server Win2K.
I'm trying to setup IM between the workstations and server
only using my LAN.
- Is there any way, I can setup the MSN msg to use locally
(intranet)?
- Else, is there any free IM software for intranet only?

Greetings Tom,
To use Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger 4.x internally, you'd need either an Exchange 2000
IM Server or a SIP-based Communications Server (like the upcoming RTC Server from Microsoft),
obviously these aren't "free" or inexpensive solutions, so, you might want to check out
something like LanTalk XP instead:
