problem with Q811493 pack

Windows Update shows that my WinXP Pro. needs Q811493
pack - already installed! As I found there is a newer
version of Q811493 (dated May 23) I unisntalled and
reinstalled that pack with no result: Win Update still
shows my system needs Q811493. Why?

Do a file search for Catroot2 and rename it to Catroot2bak and try again.
Worked for me. You can also just safely delete the folder if you wish. It
will be recreated anyway.
