I am using messenger 4.7 with xp home. I can connect
fine to my friend using xp home for voice and video
chat. I can see him and hear him once we connect but he
cannot see or hear me. Gettin a connection is no
problem. No firewalls, no routers on either end. The
connection status says that I am connected and I can see
and hear him just fine. My microphone acts like it is
working as the volume meter goes up and down when I talk
and things work fine in the audio tuning wizard and I can
record my voice in sound recorder. I can see myself on
the camera on my machine, he just doesn't see me or hear
me.
