MSN Messenger opening viedo

In two way video/audio communication I can see/hear the
other party fine. He can hear but not see me. On my tool
bar/view my system has "stop sending voideo" checked so I'm
not sending video, but, I can't uncheck "stop sending
video. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help

It sounds like something on your contacts' side might be blocking your video communication.

You might want to ask them to try turning off the built-in Windows XP Internet Connection
Firewall. To do so, click Start, then click the Control Panel. If you're in category view
click Network and Internet connections then click Network Connections. Right click the
network/internet connection, then click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab, and verify that
the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked. If your contact is using some other
third-party firewall, have them make sure that Messenger is set to 'Permit All', 'Allow All'
or 'Medium' (ZoneAlarm).

Also, if your contact is using an UPnP-enabled router, they might need to reset their UPnP
port forwardings. To do so, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Communications, Network
Connections. Right-click the "Internet Gateway" (should be under the Internet Gateway
heading) and choose Properties. Choose the Settings button, click each 'msmsgs' or 'msnmsgr'
entry and then choose 'Delete' to each one. Then close Messenger (right-click the Messenger
icon, choose Exit), then restart Messenger.
