usb 2.0 problem after installing sp1 and mobo drivers (nforce 2)

Hello all
i have a problem
i have instald windows xp pro and all the hardware works (inc the usb 2.0
patch) but when i install sp1 and my mobo drivers the usb 2.0 card reader is
gone it's now a unkown device

i have contact apacer abbout the problem but the cant help me

it's a asus a7n8x-delux mobo with a apacer usb 2.0 6 in 1 card reader

in removing the drivers and installing the old.
