I started XP setup over my old XP thinking this would help me format an
added hard drive. My system restore program will not work and I don't find
any restore points on my hard drive.
(rstrui.exe entry point not found)

First, Go to Start/ControlPanel/system in that dialog box click the system
restore tab and make sure that is is on and monitoring your drives. If it
is and still not working , maybe you can find help
here...http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302796

Next time you want to add a new hard disk, please ask us for advice. Taking
your own advice when you're not really sure what to do is dangerous. I'm
talking from experience. But then, you could never destroy your system the
way I used to destroy mine.
