2 options:
1) Files are corrupt. = Use a back up or verify by
checking with a Virus Program. (Not likely, Microsoft
uses "corrupt" as a synonym for Forced Upgrade Strategy)
2) You may (like me) love certain really out of date
software that is critical to your current way of life and
make no sense to upgrade but (unlike me) didn't know that
whenever MS gives you 1 feature it takes 1.5 features
away. The best advice is to goto the link below and
follow the MS rulebook. It is possible that your software
requires VXD or something that windows has thrown in the
gutter. At least by the end of this you'll know for sure.
