msn 6 games

Hi,

I tried msn 6 and i like it.
But why is the only game tic tac toe?

Ths is very boring, aren't there more games?

How can I activate the others? If I press on Start, there's only tic tac
toe!
I have the german version of msn 6.0.0268

there is an xml file in your documents and settings that needs a tweak:

off the top of my head:

Application Data > Microsoft > Messenger

there is a xml file : open it, scroll right to the bottom and in about the
last ten line os the xml there will be a reference to your germany location
something like de - change this to us

I am sorry to be vague, but as a uk person, i found the 'uk' in my file and
changed it to us.

Now I can play my buddies at minesweeper!

(I am sure someone can explain this a bit clearer)

In the pre-official version, you had to have a US MSN Passport to
||||| play the games. Looks like that it still is that way. There is a
||||| way around it
||||| though- you can "poison" the datafile that tells MSN what country
||||| you're in. I'm assuming you use Win2000 or better.

||||| Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<your email>\configcache.xml
