Need help. Can't connect Lexmark Z25 printer and ISDN
Modem at the same time. Have six USB ports, only using 4
of them. Have USB mouse, USB ISDM Modem, USB Lexmark
Laser Printer and USB Lexmark Z25 colour printer. when I
connect the Colour printer into any USB port, it takes
out my ISDM Modem and I can't connect to the internet.
It doesn't matter which USB port that I use. System
tells me that the Modem is sharing the same IRQ as my
128MB Video Card, but, as long as the printer in question
is not connected, I don't have any problems.

I may not have the solution to your problem, but are you aware that once
you are plugged into a USB port, that port is set up for that particular
device. If you remove it and plug something else in it will screw up
your port. On other words label your ports and DO NOT plug any other
device in them. Once they are set up THEY expect that device and that
device ONLY! :-) This may be your problem.

baker,
I don't think you could be any more wrong about this...I am constantly
plugging and unplugging different devices into my USB and have never had a
problem.
