I am having problems signing into Windows Messenger. I am
running using a shared internet connection. Also, I did
have Zone Alarm installed at one point. If I remember
correctly, Windows Messenger did work prior to the
installation of Zone Alarm. However, I began having
trouble signing, so I uninstalled Zone Alarm. But the
problem has persisted. Aol Instant Messenger works fine,
but I cannot use Windows Messenger or Trillian. Actually,
when I attempt to sign into either of them, my internet
stops working entirely. I am then forced to unplug my
cable modem for a while and shut down my computer.
Everything is fine once I plug everything back in and
reboot. It's weird. If anyone has any idea what the
problem may be, their response would be greatly
appreciated. Thank You.
