I have tried everything. Reloaded the restore disk which was Win ME.
Upgraded to XP Home. Formated C: and loaded Win 98 and upgraded to Win XP.
Replaced the Ram. Deleted all OEM*.ini files. Deleted all temp files.
System monitor says something about PerfNet, and that the BIOS had tried to
write to an illegle port. Upgraded BIOS last year. It still freezes within
2 hours when using it. Removed all unnecessary start up programs etc...
Usually does it when using Internet Explorer. Using Ves 6 now.
Any help would be appreciated.
1gig hz Intel Pent 3. 512 Ram. 30 Gig hard drive.
