When I bootup the "Windows XP Startup.wav" plays choppy.
It didn't do this till Windows downloaded and installed a
new video driver for my GeForce4 Ti 4200.
Can't see how that would make the "Windows XP Startup.wav"
start playing choppy though.
Anyone know what happened and how to fix this?

Hi L. Satterfield...
Could be more of a rush to get going between what's here:
Start - Run - (type) msconfig - Ok - Startup (tab)
and the Startup.wav.
You could try Rolling Back the driver in Device Manager etc...
As for myself...if everything runs along smooth after the
choppy Startup.wav...I'd start by disabling the Startup.wav in
Control Panel - Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices - Sounds
and Audio Devices - Sounds (tab) - Program events -
Start Windows...set that to none.
Reboot...open Windows Media Player - start playing MP3's
..wav's etc...with visualizations turned on...to determine if all
sounds are choppy. If they are...then start troubleshooting.
