Reading ntfs files from win98

hope someone can help
i badly need to get some files from an ntfs partition
i have a running win98se on primary partition and a damaged xp pro on
an ntfs partition....i have downloaded "NTFS for Windows 98"
[sysinternal website] which is reputed to be an excellent tool to
achieve this...unfortunately 7 files are required by the utility
before it will run...[why on earth dont they have them in a zip file
for download??] i have found 3 of them on the xp disk but the other 4
are hidden away on my inaccessable ntfs partition
the files are:
NTFS.SYS: got this one
AUTOCHK.EXE: got this one
NTDLL.DLL: got this one
NTOSKRNL.EXE: this file is located at <winnt>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
C_437.NLS: this file is located at <winnt>\system32\c_437.nls
C_1252.NLS: this file is located at <winnt>\system32\c_1252.nls
L_INTL.NLS: this file is located at <winnt>\system32\l_intl.nls

dont know whether the paths refer to win nt, 200 or xp install they
are not on the xp install cd
where can i get these files???

or conversely is there another ntfs reader utility i can use??

www.sysinternals.com has a 98 or dos (both work on 98) free read only =
NTFS driver.
