We are running Windows Xp professional on several
workstations in our school district, and we have noticed
some peculiar that is occurring. For instance, when we
open notepad, and then select the file menu, and then
save as, the application just closes itself. Also I have
found that when you select to save a file you are
downloading, it will freeze before it brings up the
browse window, and you have to end task on internet
explorer. We have run all of the windows updates, and we
are using roaming profile via our Nt 4.0 backbone. Has
anyone else experianced anything similar? AZre there any
known issues with using NT 4 roaming profiles on XP & 200
boxes?
