deleting hotmail account

i want to delete my hotmail account, but i have no idea
how to do it. anybody know? thanks!

Greetings Jenny,

Hotmail accounts will automatically close after 30 days without you signing in. However,
this will just make it inactive, not actually delete the account. You can't actually fully
"delete" a Hotmail account (or its Messenger account).

I emailed msn about this, and they said if you don't sign in for 30 days,
the account will become inactive, but it will not close, when 90 days pass,
the account will be deleted. you .NET Passport, being your Hotmail account,
will no longer function if your account is deleted, and if you sign in, your
hotmail account will not be deleted.
