My story is, when someone else signs in using there
email in windows messenger, it remembers their email in
the drop-down box that is shown when u click "sign in as
someone else." Is there a way to remove these names?

You can do this by doing the following.

Start - Run - control userpasswords2
Click the Advanced Tab. Press "Manage Passwords" button.
Select the ones you no longer want listed, and click Remove.

Hope this helps.

Greetings Ruud,

Are you using the Dutch version of Windows XP? Unfortunately, there is a current bug in the
Dutch version of Windows XP which prevents you from removing passport information from your
account. As such, this won't work, and there is no other way of doing it. As far as I know,
this hasn't been fixed, but you may want to run WindowsUpdate
(http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com on that computer to see if there's an update that will
fix this).

Hi Ruud,

Unfortunately no (besides buying a copy of the English XP retail version and installing
that).

Having the same problems Ruud and Jonathan.
Using the dutch version and removing is impossible. What can we do about
this?

Possible solution:

1. Add user in useraccounts
2. Logging in with the new user
3. Start MSN 6
4. Don't use MS Passport login but normal e-mail adres
5. Start MSN 6
6. Delete old user account, after copying all files from user to the new
account.

Hi Harry,

Unfortunately at the moment, there's nothing you can do about this.
