Change mouse behaviour

[James Bond]

To execute an application on my desktop, I only have to
click the mouse once.

How do I change my mouse behaviour so that a double click
is required instead?

Start Windows Explorer. Click Tools, Folder Options. Under General tab,
click the button that says Double-click to open an item (single-click to
select) then click Apply and OK
