I just got a new computer and it has Windows XP. I use
stationery everyday when writing to me sister but now I
can't get the music that comes with the stationery either
when I'm composing a message or when I receive one. I
know my sound is working because I get the little ding
notifing me of a new message coming in and I can also
play music from 'my music'. I have gone into
tools/options and checked all of the setting but can't
seem to find the problem. Can someone help me please? I
don't know if I'm even writing to the correct newsgroup.
I didn't see one for Outlook Express.
Thanks. Linda

Go to start/run, and type SNDVOL32

Options menu, Properties, put a check in all items in the scroll box, OK, Look
for "Muted" checkboxes below the sliders.
