I have come upon an interesting problem. There is a user in my office who
had/has a problem that when she logs or shuts down, it will take about 2-3
minutes then the "Explorer.exe is not responding" box will come up and I hit
end task and the computer will shutdown or log off. That's when she is
logged in.
When I log in I do not have any of these problems. When I set up the
computers I set them up with a standard desktop. Windows Classic, normal
task bar, etc... Then when any other user logs in they get the same
standard desktop. They are able to change it if they want.
Last time she had this problem, I deleted her profile and had her log in
again and she didn't have any problems for about 3 months. Now she is
having them again.
I noticed that she changed her computer desktop settings to the "Windows XP"
theme and she also has Webshots installed.
Any ideas as to why Explorer.exe keeps crashing during logoff/shutdown?
Couldnt find anything in google...
Thank you
