how do i use that messenger that peaple are always
moaning becoase they get ads off them (to be honest i
dont blame them)
please tell me

Greetings Danny,

I assume you mean the "Messenger Service" -- you can use the "net send" command to send these
messages. To do so, click the Start button, then click Run, and enter:
net send computername themessage

Where the computername is the computer name of the person you're sending to, and themessage
is the message you want to send.

If you want an interface to do all this, check out Lantalk XP:

Hi Danny,

Then you type:
net send computername themessage

Where the computername is the computer name of the person you're sending to, and themessage
is the message you want to send.
