We have been using windows messenger 4.7 for over a year
now hosting our own exchange messenger server. A few of
our users installed Messenger 5.0 which obviously didn't
work with our exchange server, so we uninstalles 5.0. But
now there is no option to use the whiteboard in 4.7, it's
just disapeared from the "action menu". Any ideas would
be appreciated, we've already uninstalled 4.7 and
reinstalled it: no difference?

Greetings Jeremy,

To fix this, assuming the Windows installation is in
C:\Windows (if it's not, you'll have to edit the drive letter in the file in Notepad before
running), just run this .reg file, reboot and it should work again:
