I am using the latest version of "MSN messenger".
Problem is when I bring out Outlook Express it Opens an
icon on the task bar for "Windows Messenger". I wen
tinto Outlook Express Options and made sure that I did
NOT check load Windows Messenger on start up. And yet it
loads into the task bar. Then when I try to get rid of
it on the task bar it says I can't exit it unless I close
all other applications relating to messenger. Very
frustrating. Can anyone help?

To stop Outlook Express from loading Windows Messenger, close Outlook Express, then download
and run this .reg file:
