wierd ftp problem

using xp pro.

when i log in to my webspace using a ftp client i cannot delete,rename,move
the file i get an error saying invalid directory, if however i use internet
explorer i can do what i want with the file.

i have tried a different ftp client but no luck.

can anybody help

Try setting Passive Transfers on in your FTP client
