Is their any software alternative to Xp system restore ?? as i need it.

Xp system restore never worked for me from day one.

No mater have many reinstalls i have done.

It creates them but i can never restore to them.

I have Sp1 and all driver updates are the latest.

The best thing for you would be to step back and understand what system
restore does and then learn how to use it well. If you are looking for an
alternative solution, there is imaging software. However, imaging software
is more complicated to understand and use than system restore.

No, it is not entirely dependable, in my experience. Nowadays, I use, in
addition, more and more the registry backup freeware, Emergency Recovery
Utility NT (better known as ERUNT). See if it suits you.
