hi all,
after i installed windows xp prof i was no longer able to
write to the cds. i mainly burn jpeg files. i've
downloaded patches from nero and roxio's websites but
still no luck. I read on one of these site's faq's that
i need to turn off or stop the writing packet that comes
w/xp professional. is this true?

today i tried burning files at 4x (600 kbs) using nero
and after the burnprocess started i got an error
SCSI -1106 File Cmdqueue.cp line 925
the errors are long.....so nero could not perform
write and the burnprocess failed
with a last error saying
Phase 38 File digbrnst.cpp Line 897

help....please. help.... i've already taken my computer
to a tech to have this corrected, but didn't work.

although this is also a nero problem, couldn't it also be
related to the way my computer is set up?

Hi,

Start/run msconfig, go to the services tab and uncheck the line for imapi
burning services.
