View Full Version : thanks but my desktop is still the same

as you can see below the prob is still there i have tried
unlocking web items .....i have done the drop shadow bit
and the coloured boxes are still around the icon text on
my desk top.....now im sure someone out there knows hows
to help on this .......thanks again .....

as you see below thats my prob ....and though i have
searched these boards looking for ways to put it right
and have found peoples ways of solving it ...alas to no
avail.......i have tried the drop shadows box and un
checking the web box......this trivial problem is really
starting to do my patience....lol.....any new ideas on
how to sort this out ....thanks guys and girls



until a couple of weeks ago ....the text under the icons
on my desk top was just plain text now for some reason
that text is appearing within a coloured box and no
longer looks right .....i have tried through display
propeties to get rid of this ....starting to pull my hair
out now,lol....more so cause its something simple but
cant work it out ....thanks for any help

Double-click My Computer, and then click Folder Options on the Tools menu.
Click the View tab.
Click to de-select the Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color check
box, and then click OK.
