There are certain files that I'm trying to delete from my
hardrive and everytime I click delete I get an error
message saying that the file is in use by another person
or program. I've shutdown everything running, i'm not on
a network, and I still cannot delete this files. Is there
anything I can do to get rid of them? Thanks

Hi,
Are they media files? Open the media player, remove the files from the
playlist. Then try deleting the files. Otherwise, see:

Select "delete an undeletable file in WindowsXP" from the dropdown.
