I found a good solution from John B. in this group, and I
send him many thanks! Here is his instructions:
"To turn off the messenger service, right click on my
computer, go to manage, expand Services and
applications / select services / on the right, go to
MESSENGER and double click. In service Status, click
stop, then in startup type change option to manual.
This should solve your problem."
