I have posted a few messages asking for help and have had
no replies. Is there any point?

Yes just keep trying somebody sooner or later will help.

Just be clear on what you want accomplished.

Perhaps I can explain.

This group is not Microsoft technical support. While Microsoft handles the
administration, this is an all volunteer self-help group. As such, your
question can be answered if there is a volunteer who is familiar with your
problem at the time you post your question.

And while this group is fortunate to have among its volunteers a good number
of highly knowledgeable people, there is no guarantee that every problem can
be solved. Some problems cannot be solved.

Also, some posters - and I'm not saying this about you - are unable to
explain their situation in a way that can be used to solve their problem.

So if you don't get an answer, we're not ignoring you. We just don't know.

Do you come back to this group and read the replies? I see lots of answers
to your questions on 6-4,19,21,25,28-2003. Most people reply to the group so
that others with the same problems can read your answers. I'll send this to
you directly and then to the group.
