I am running a clean install of WinXP with the lastest service pack.
I have the computer set up with three users. The welcome screen greets me
when I start up the computer. However, I want the welcome screen to
reappear once the screen saver comes on.
However, the option that should read "On resume, welcome screen" instead
reads "On resume, password protect". Therefore, it locks the computer and
only the person logged on (or an administrator) can use the computer. This
is a problem because we do not keep any of the regular users in the
Administrators group.
I do know, however, that Fast User Switching is enabled. If I choose Start
| Log Off | Switch User, the welcome screen comes up, and everything works
fine. It only happens with the screen saver. Please help.
