Hi there!

I have problems adding a picture in a chat-conversation. There's nothing
but the black picture. But the webcam (Logitech QuickCam Messenger) works
fine with the delivered software. One can see me when I invite the person
via the Logitech IM Video Companion. But it doesn't work with the Messenger.

Does anybody have experience with this problem or can help me???

Thanx in advance!

Julie

Greetings Julie,

Messenger may just be set to the wrong video input (for example, your video card might have a
video input and Messenger is defaulting to that). To change it, open up the main Messenger
window, click the Tools menu, then Audio Tuning Wizard (if you're using MSN Messenger 6, it
will be labeled Audio/Video Tuning Wizard), then go through the wizard and make sure that the
Logitech camera is selected and that you can see yourself (there's a little test window you
get as you go through). Then try again.
